Our pricing model is simple: Currently $10US per point of I/O (regularly $15US).  No license fees.  No maintenance fees, ever!  Note that 6% GST applies to all Canadian purchasers.  These fees will be indicated prior to creating the PLC program. Credit card deposits into your account with The PLC Code Generator are made through the software.  These deposits are held in trust until such time as you generate a PLC program from the software.  You will be prompted to accept the charges that apply to your project.  These charges will then be debited from your account.  Please understand that we are not a bank.  Only make deposits for amounts that you intend to use to generate PLC programs.  Note that it may take several weeks to obtain a refund of deposited funds that have not been billed for PLC programs and a minimal charge may apply. We also provide two different program style options: Sequence Logic and State Logic.  These programming methods are described on the Product Overview page.  If you do not wish to apply either programming style, you can still generate all the supporting logic including machine modes; machine monitoring; output Setup, Safety, Control, and Complete rungs; as well as machine fault logic and a complete documentation package.  All you need to do is fill in the Output Setup rungs and configure some minor control parameters and the program is complete.  Pricing for this option is currently at 1/2 off the complete program price of $10US per point of I/O (i.e., $5US per point of I/O). The project I/O count is defined as the total number of inputs and outputs configured for the project.  Note that this may include non I/O bit addresses configured as I/O for purposes of the machine sequence.  The software will total these numbers prior to generating the ladder logic program for a given project. Note that only minor, incremental changes may be made to a given project with the option of creating a new ladder logic program, once the program has initially been generated.  If the changes become more than minor, the project will be treated as an entirely new project and the pricing listed above will be applied to the 'new' project. If your requirements exceed the capabilities of our software, or additional programming elements are required, we can provide pricing for custom program additions and/or provide additional software capabilities at no charge, depending on the level of demand and programming involved.  Please e-mail sales@PLCCodeGenerator.com for any sales inquiries or custom quotations.
